Abstract: Die jüngsten Konjunkturdaten für Österreich zeichnen nach wie vor ein günstiges Bild. Die Nachfrage, vor allem jene aus dem Inland, wächst kräftig, und der Investitionsboom läßt vorerst keine gravierenden Produktionsengpässe entstehen. Auch das ruhige Preisklima und das reichliche Angebot an Arbeitskräften weisen nicht auf unmittelbare Kapazitätsgrenzen hin, die Leistungsbilanz ist ausgeglichen. Dennoch birgt die außenwirtschaftliche Flanke nun höhere Risken. Die Exportaufträge lassen nach, der internationale Zinsauftrieb hat sich beschleunigt, und der effektive Schillingkurs tendiert in realer Rechnung wieder aufwärts.
