Abstract: Während sich die heimische Konjunktur zu Jahresbeginn noch relativ gut behauptet hatte, mehrten sich im Frühjahr die Anzeichen einer Wachstumsverlangsamung. Export und Industrieproduktion stagnierten im März – arbeitstägig bereinigt – auf dem Vorjahresniveau. Auch die Industrieunternehmen schätzen die Konjunkturlage – laut jüngstem WIFO-Konjunkturtest von Ende April – pessimistischer ein als im Jänner. Die Inlandsnachfrage (Konsum und Bauwirtschaft) sowie der internationale Reiseverkehr stützen jedoch weiterhin Österreichs Wirtschaft. Das Wachstum des Brutto-Inlandsproduktes dürfte sich deshalb im I. Quartal nur mäßig verlangsamt haben.
