Abstract: Die Stellungnahme der EG-Kommission zum österreichischen Beitrittsansuchen stellt der österrreichischen Wirtschaft insgesamt ein hervorragendes Zeugnis aus. Kritischere Feststellungen zu einigen Strukturproblemen überraschen nicht. Interessant sind aus österreichischer Sicht jedenfalls einige Akzentsetzungen.
