Abstract: Die Hoffnung auf einen zügigeren Aufschwung der internationalen Konjunktur wurde zuletzt zweifach getrübt: In den USA hat sich das Wirtschaftswachstum im Frühjahr verlangsamt, und in Deutschland hat die Geldpolitik ihren restriktiven Kurs weiter verschärft. Die Gesamtnachfrage der österreichischen Wirtschaft erwies sich bisher als tragfähig.
