Abstract: Im Frühjahr und Sommer hat sich der Konjunkturabschwung nicht fortgesetzt. Dennoch tendiert die Auslandsnachfrage, gemäß den Frühindikatoren, weiter abwärts. Die Hoffnung, daß sie sich in der Folge beleben wird, stützt sich auf sinkende Zinsen und bessere Rentabilität der Produktion, kaum jedoch auf unmittelbare Nachfrageimpulse. Die Prognose des WIFO für 1993 und 1994 bleibt weitgehend unverändert.
