Abstract: Die Industrie plant eine deutliche Kürzung der Investitionen. Auch Export und Tourismus werden 1993 schwach bleiben. Die österreichische Wirtschaft wird deshalb 1993 um nur 1¼% wachsen. Robuster Konsum und florierender Wohnbau verhindern ein Abgleiten in eine Rezession. Aufgrund der schwachen Konjunktur wird die Arbeitslosenquote um ½ Prozentpunkt auf 6,4% steigen und die Inflationsrate auf 3,3% sinken.
