Abstract: Die österreichische Wirtschaft stand im Jahr 1992 am Beginn einer ausgeprägten Konjunkturabschwungphase. Das Wirtschaftswachstum betrug nur noch 1,5%. Industrie und Export schwächten sich ab, Konsum und Bauwirtschaft stützten hingegen die Konjunktur.
