Abstract: Die Industrie hat mit den Sparten Vorprodukte und Investitionsgüter im Aufschwung Tritt gefaßt, den Produzenten von Konsumgütern und der Tourismuswirtschaft gelang dies noch nicht. Das regionale Konjunkturbild wird in einigem Umfang von diesen Strukturfaktoren bestimmt. Die traditionelle West-Ost-Übertragung der Konjunktur ist nicht mehr festzustellen. Im Burgenland vollzieht sich ein neuerlicher Entwicklungssprung.
