Abstract: 1993 war für die Land- und Forstwirtschaft neuerlich ein besonders schwieriges Jahr. Die stagnierende Produktion und sinkende Agrarpreise bedeuteten eine Abnahme des Rohertrags, die Agrareinkommen fielen zurück. Wie in den zwei Jahren zuvor waren auch 1993 alle wichtigen Produktionsgebiete vom Ertragsrückgang betroffen. Die größten Einbußen erlitten das Burgenland und Kärnten. Die regionalen Unterschiede waren überdurchschnittlich durch Standorteinflüsse geprägt.
