Abstract: 1994 war für die Land- und Forstwirtschaft ein gutes Jahr. Die agrarische Produktion und Wertschöpfung erholte sich vom Tief der Vorjahre, auch die Agrareinkommen sind gestiegen. Von der kräftigen Belebung profitierten alle wichtigen Produktionsgebiete. Die regionalen Unterschiede waren primär durch die Produktionsstruktur geprägt: Regionen mit den Schwerpunkten Pflanzenbau und Holzwirtschaft erzielten die besten Ergebnisse.
