Abstract: Das 2. Halbjahr 1995 brachte in den europäischen Hartwährungsländern eine deutliche Abschwächung des Wirtschaftswachstums. Dieser Entwicklung konnte sich auch Österreich nicht entziehen. Vor allem in Industrie und Tiefbau geht die Produktion stark zurück, der Beschäftigungseinbruch verstärkt sich.
