Abstract: Die im WIFO-Investitionstest erfaßten Unternehmen investieren 1997 und 1998 überdurchschnittlich. 1997 bedeutet die nominelle Steigerung um 1,5% nur einen geringen Zuwachs gegenüber dem Vorjahr. Für 1998 plant die Industrie eine Umsatzsteigerung um 6,5%; eine reale Zuwachsrate von 4,5% ist damit für die Sachgüterproduktion durchaus realistisch.
