Abstract: Die Multimedia-Branche ist ein potentieller Hoffnungsträger für den notwendigen Strukturwandel der österreichischen Volkswirtschaft. Das Zusammenspiel zahlreicher Innovationen in den Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien schafft neue Märkte und verspricht damit zusätzliches Einkommen und Beschäftigung. Der vorliegende Beitrag faßt die wichtigsten empirischen Ergebnisse einer Unternehmensbefragung zusammen.
