Abstract: Die im WIFO-Investitionstest erfaßten Unternehmen planen für 1998 eine nominelle Steigerung ihrer Investitionen um 7,3%. Die Industrie rechnet mit einer nominellen Ausweitung ihrer Umsätze um 5,8%. Aufgrund der gespaltenen Baukonjunktur sind die Investitionspläne in diesem Sektor sehr differenziert, während die Elektrizitätswirtschaft (+3,5%) sowie die Verkehrs- und Versorgungsbetriebe (+8,6%) ihre Investitionen gegenüber 1997 steigern wollen.
