Abstract: Die im WIFO-Investitionstest erfaßten Wirtschaftsbereiche bestätigen für 1998 einen leichten Rückgang der Investitionen gegenüber 1997 um 0,7%. 1999 ist aufgrund von Nachzieheffekten eine Ausweitung der Investitionen um 8,2% zu erwarten, in der Industrie wollen die Unternehmen um 23,7% mehr investieren als im Vorjahr.
