WIFO Monatsberichte (monthly reports), 2003, vol. 76, issue 5, 335-340

Abstract: In Österreich stagniert die Wirtschaft seit Mitte des vergangenen Jahres. Die aktuellen Konjunkturumfragen für das I. und II. Quartal 2003 deuten nicht auf eine Verbesserung hin. Nachfrage und Produktion entwickeln sich somit ähnlich wie in der Euro-Zone, wo ebenfalls Konjunkturimpulse fehlen. Die Konjunkturschwäche beeinträchtigt die Lage auf dem Arbeitsmarkt, begünstigt allerdings die Leistungsbilanz und die Preisentwicklung.
