Sozialschutzausgaben im Jahr 2001

Abstract: Die wirtschaftlichen Rahmenbedingungen waren 2001 weniger günstig als in den Vorjahren: Das Wirtschaftswachstum erreichte nur 0,8%, die Arbeitslosenquote stieg auf 6,1%. Die Ausgaben für die soziale Sicherheit erhöhten sich von 2000 auf 2001 um 3,1% auf insgesamt 60,4 Mrd. €. Sie stiegen damit real um 0,4%, schwächer als das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt. Die Sozialquote stagnierte 2001 mit 28,4% nahezu auf dem Niveau des Jahres 2000 (28,3%).
