Interessante Absatzmärkte und Exportpotentiale für die österreichische Industrie

Abstract: Obwohl die österreichische Ausfuhr in die MOEL erheblich ausgeweitet wurde, ist der Export weiterhin stark auf Westeuropa konzentriert. Das Exportpotential der Wirtschaft könnte durch eine Erschließung vor allem der dynamischen, chancenreichen Absatzmärkte außerhalb der traditionellen Zielländer besser genutzt werden. Anhand von Indikatoren zur Nachfrageentwicklung, zur Übereinstimmung der Importstruktur der potentiellen Exportmärkte mit der österreichischen Exportstruktur, Informationen über Motive und Hindernisse im Export, Marktanteilsanalysen und einer ökonometrischen Schätzung von mittelfristigen Exportpotentialen hat das WIFO 30 Länder als potentielle Schwerpunktmärkte identifiziert (13 MOEL und 17 Hoffnungsmärkte außerhalb Europas).
