Abstract: Vor dem Hintergrund der Neustrukturierung der österreichischen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit befasst sich der Beitrag mit den Möglichkeiten und Grenzen ihrer wirtschaftsnahen Ausgestaltung. Eine solche Allianz zwischen öffentlicher Entwicklungszusammenarbeit und den Einrichtungen der Wirtschaft würde nicht nur zusätzliche Mittel für Entwicklungshilfe mobilisieren, sondern auch die Exportausrichtung und Internationalisierung der heimischen Wirtschaft fördern.
