Abstract: Trotz einer Abkühlung in den USA belebt sich die Weltkonjunktur weiter. Der Aufschwung, der in Europa im Frühjahr 2006 einsetzt hat, steht regional auf einer breiten Basis. Auch in Österreich hält die Dynamik an, das BIP wuchs im III. Quartal gegenüber dem Vorquartal real um 0,9%. Die Impulse der Außenwirtschaftliche übertrugen sich auf die Binnennachfrage: Während die Investitionen in Bauten und Ausrüstungsgüter stark anzogen, entwickelt sich das Wachstum des privaten Konsums weiterhin stabil.
