Potentialwachstum in Österreich. Schätzung und Diskussion der angebotsseitigen Wachstumschancen

Abstract: Das Potentialwachstum zeigt als häufig verwendeter Konjunkturindikator die Wachstumsmöglichkeiten einer Volkswirtschaft bei "normaler" Auslastung des gegebenen Angebotes an Produktionsfaktoren. Eine Schätzung mit einem Produktionsfunktionsansatz liefert für das Jahr 2006 je nach Annahmen über die Einsatzfähigkeit der vorgemerkten Arbeitslosen sowie jener in der stillen Reserve Potentialwachstumsraten zwischen 2,5% und 2,9%.
