Abstract: Die Europäische Kommission plant, die Beschränkung des Milchangebotes durch die Milchquotenregelung über das Jahr 2015 hinaus nicht fortzusetzen. Ein Bündel von nationalen und EU-weiten Maßnahmen soll die Anpassung der Milchbetriebe an die veränderte Situation erleichtern. Die Lockerung der Angebotsbeschränkung wird in einigen EU-Ländern, darunter Österreich, eine Produktionsausweitung zur Folge haben und tendenziell preisdämpfend wirken.
