Abstract: Das WIFO legt eine Reihe von Schlüsselindikatoren zur Beschreibung von Trends und Entwicklungen im Bereich von Klima und Energiesystem vor. Diese werden künftig jährlich aktualisiert. Damit will das WIFO die Notwendigkeit einer "Dekarbonisierung" von Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft, d. h. einer Verringerung energiebedingter Treibhausgasemissionen zum Schutz des Klimas unterstreichen und eine ökonomisch interessierte Öffentlichkeit über klimarelevante Entwicklungen informieren.
