Abstract: Die europäische Bauwirtschaft wird auch im Jahr 2012 noch etwas schrumpfen, erst 2013 kommt wieder ein kräftiges Wachstum in Gang. Das ungünstige makroökonomische Umfeld und der erhöhte Konsolidierungsdruck der öffentlichen Haushalte schwächen den Sektor derzeit. Insbesondere in den südlichen Ländern des Euroconstruct-Netzwerkes sind die Aussichten für die kommenden Jahre noch gedämpft, in den nordischen Ländern zeichnet sich hingegen eine deutliche Erholung ab.
