WIFO Monatsberichte (monthly reports), 2016, vol. 89, issue 6, 387-393

Abstract: Gemäß der aktuellen Quartalsrechnung des WIFO stieg das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt in Österreich im I. Quartal 2016 gegenüber dem Vorquartal um 0,5% (auf Basis der Trend-Zyklus-Komponente). Nach einem robusten Verlauf im Vorjahr beschleunigte sich die Konjunktur damit weiter. Maßgebend für den Wachstumsschub war die inländische Nachfrage. Das Bild der Vorlaufindikatoren verbessert sich zwar zunehmend, die allgemeine Stimmung ist jedoch nach wie vor verhalten.
