Abstract: Das österreichische BIP wuchs im II. Quartal 2019 gegenüber der Vorperiode um 0,3% (nach +0,4% im I. Quartal 2019 und +0,5% im IV. Quartal 2018). Damit setzte sich die Expansion der Vorjahre zwar fort, sie verlangsamt sich aber seit Anfang 2018 kontinuierlich. Die positive Entwicklung der Realwirtschaft spiegelt sich auf dem Arbeitsmarkt nach wie vor in Form eines Anstieges der Beschäftigung und eines Rückganges der Arbeitslosigkeit. Der Preisauftrieb schwächte sich zuletzt ab.
