Abstract: Aufgrund der umfangreichen behördlichen Maßnahmen sank die österreichische Wirtschaftsleistung im I. Quartal um 1,1% gegenüber dem Vorquartal. Der gesamtwirtschaftliche Wertschöpfungsverlust ist allerdings das Resultat einer sehr heterogenen, teils gegenläufigen Entwicklung der Teilkomponenten. Dies gilt sowohl für die Angebots- als auch für die Nachfrageseite. Vorlaufindikatoren zeichnen ein günstiges Bild der weiteren Konjunkturentwicklung. Auch die schrittweise Rücknahme der Restriktionen gibt Anlass zu einem positiven Ausblick auf das II. Quartal.
