Abstract: Die Schwäche der weltweiten Industriekonjunktur bremst die Wirtschaftsentwicklung im Euro-Raum. Das österreichische BIP ging im III. Quartal um 0,6% zurück und die Konsumausgaben der privaten Haushalte sanken deutlich. Die Konjunktureinschätzungen der Unternehmen blieben laut WIFO-Konjunkturtest überwiegend skeptisch. Die Inflation verlangsamte sich im Oktober auf 5,4%, die Arbeitslosenquote betrug 6,3%.
