Abstract:
The study's aim was to assess the re‐sampling rate of metallurgical material in a precious metal refinery. Three different methods were evaluated; including the refinery's existing means comparison method, an empirical distribution technique and a non‐linear model. The objective was to assess these three methods to determine which would be the most appropriate for the existing sampling method in order to obtain a re‐sampling rate of 5%.
