Joint test for functional forms and heteroscedasticity with property sales and valuation data

Peijie Wang

Applied Stochastic Models and Data Analysis, 1995, vol. 11, issue 4, 315-321

Abstract: This paper proposes an approach to jointly testing functional forms and heteroscedasticity within the general Box‐Cox transformation framework. The approach is then applied to decide empirically the character of the residuals from regressions of properties' open market prices on their valuation.
