A statistical approach to logical inference in endocrine physiopathology

Abstract: A combined logical‐statistical approach is suggested here for endocrine physiopathological inference. The prior knowledge of the endocrine system is formalized by a Boolean model. Boolean equations are solved to estimate prior probability distributions. A Bayesian strategy, taking into account the observational errors, is used to solve a specific endocrine problem.
