Remarks on Ultrametrics and Metric‐Preserving Functions

Abstract: Functions whose composition with every metric is a metric are said to be metric‐preserving. In this paper, we investigate a variation of the concept of metric‐preserving functions where metrics are replaced by ultrametrics.
