Neutron Star Interiors and Topology Change

Peter K. F. Kuhfittig

Advances in Mathematical Physics, 2013, vol. 2013, issue 1

Abstract: Quark matter is believed to exist in the center of neutron stars. A combined model consisting of quark matter and ordinary matter is used to show that the extreme conditions existing in the center could result in a topology change, that is, in the formation of wormholes.
