A Riemann‐Hilbert Approach to the Multicomponent Kaup‐Newell Equation

Abstract: A Riemann‐Hilbert approach is developed to the multicomponent Kaup‐Newell equation. The formula is presented of N‐soliton solutions through an identity jump matrix related to the inverse scattering problems with reflectionless potential.
