Global Existence and Blow‐Up for a Weakly Dissipative Modified Two‐Component Camassa‐Holm System

Abstract: In this paper, we consider a weakly dissipative modified two‐component Camassa‐Holm system. We demonstrate a simple sufficient condition on initial data to guarantee blow‐up of solutions in finite time, and the solutions exist globally in time.
