Three‐Dimensional Temperature Distribution Produced by a Moving Laser Beam

R. Uyhan

Journal of Applied Mathematics, 2013, vol. 2013, issue 1

Abstract: An axisymmetric laser beam, moving with constant speed, heats a thin infrared absorbing layer sandwiched between two plastic sheets. We use a simplified theoretical model to study the three‐dimensional unsteady temperature field produced by the moving laser beam.
