Determinants of financial performance: An evidence from Internet finance sector

Abstract: Financial performance is one of the most important factors for the decision making in the operation of Internet finance sector. The purpose of this study is to examine the impacts of credit risk, liquidity, profitability, capital structure, and growth on the financial performance. The empirical research is carried out on the sample of 24 listed companies steadily engaged in Internet finance services from 2013 to September 2020. The originality of the paper is the industrial credit risk curve and the relationships between the variables, which are expected to provide insights for the healthy development of both entire industry and individual enterprises.
