Managerial and Decision Economics, 2022, vol. 43, issue 6, 2108-2118

Abstract: The article focuses on the risk factors of the business model innovation, and the interaction mechanism between risk factors and business model innovation. The grounded theory was used to analyze the business model innovation of four cold chain logistics enterprises. Results reveal that the main risk factors of business model innovation in cold chain logistics are management, technical, and environmental risks. The risk factors suggest that cold chain logistics enterprises need to optimize the internal management to improve the innovation ability and strengthen the development of cold chain technology to improve market competitive.
