Offshore Oil Prospects for the Year 2000

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to arrive at an estimate by geographical area of the future trends in offshore oil production. Using such data as current production, depletion rates, oil legislation, exploration activity, government policy, etc., possible oil‐production capacities to the year 2000 are deduced on a country‐by‐country basis.
