The Export Potential of Colombian Coal

Abstract: Colombian coal‐exporting capacity is examined in terms of the country's advantageous location with regard to potential markets, coal reserves and development plans. By the year 2000 Colombia could have the capacity to export 40 million tonnes of coal per annum.
