Abstract:
In this paper, a complex system having two types of components is examined with regard to dependability [1]. The probabilities that the system is operating under normal efficiency, reduced efficiency, and is in the failed state have been obtained. Some particular cases are also deduced in the body of the paper. In the end, the behavior of the complex system under steady‐state has been examined and from this, the behavior of a system having one component of each class has been derived.
