A method of resource allocation using demand preference

John C. Gilbert

Naval Research Logistics Quarterly, 1964, vol. 11, issue 2, 217-225

Abstract: In many military problems, it is impossible to establish a function describing the relative military worth of resources. Demand for these resources is usually created from some higher level goal. The algorithm described in this paper provides a procedure for allocating scarce resources among competing demands in such a situation.
