Airline demand: An analysis of some frequency distributions

Abstract: Following some trial fittings of Poisson and compounded Poisson distributions, Gamma distributions are fitted to histograms of manifested passengers, to total losses (late cancellations, no‐shows, and misconnections) and to passengers added.
