Abstract:
The purpose of the present article is to describe a number of methods for simulating the vulnerability of armored vehicles to penetration warheads. To facilitate the description the article defines a modular conceptual model for the simulation of an armored vehicle's incapacitation process, with modules corresponding to its basic stages, and presents candidate models for each module. By substituting the modules with different combinations of models, a large variety of simulation methods are obtained. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons. Inc.
