Max J. Skidmore

Poverty & Public Policy, 2012, vol. 4, issue 2, 1-2

Abstract: Abstract Editor‐in‐Chief Max J. Skidmore discusses the articles, features, and reviews of Issue 2 of PPP's fourth volume, and repeats the invitation for interested readers to submit their qualifications as reviewers of books relevant to poverty issues. Additionally, he urges readers who will be attending the annual meeting of the American Political Science Association in New Orleans this year to attend panel on “Poverty and Public Policy,” sponsored by the journal and by APSA's Caucus on Poverty, Inequality, and Public Policy, which will take place on Thursday, 30 August, at 10:15 and also to renew their affiliations with the Caucus. He also urges attendance at the Policy Studies Organization's panel, “Promoting the General Welfare,” held on Friday, 31 August, at 8:00 a.m.
