AN ISRAELI–PALESTINIAN–JORDANIAN CONFEDERATION

Abstract: In light of the mounting sense of hopelessness and frustration due to the steady deadlock in efforts for solving the Palestinian–Israeli conflict, several proposals have been advocated in this regard with the aim of arriving at a final solution to this intricate conflict. This article examines the current proposal of an Israeli–Palestinian–Jordanian confederation presented by Prof. Alon Ben‐Meir and provides some constructive remarks on a number of themes considered in his proposal. A la luz de la creciente sensación de desesperanza y frustración debido al constante estancamiento en los esfuerzos por resolver el conflicto palestino‐israelí, se han defendido varias propuestas en este sentido con el objetivo de llegar a una solución final a este intrincado conflicto. Este artículo examina la propuesta actual de una confederación israelí‐palestina‐jordana presentada por Alon Ben‐Meir (2022) y proporciona algunos comentarios constructivos sobre una serie de temas considerados en su propuesta. 鉴于因致力解决巴以冲突的尝试不断陷入僵局而产生的越来越多的绝望感和挫败感，本文对此提出了几项建议，以期最终解决这一错综复杂的冲突。本文分析了Alon Ben‐Meir (2022) 提出的以色列‐巴勒斯坦‐约旦联盟提议，并就提议中考量的一些主题提供了建设性的评论。
