Jerry L. Jorgensen and Ronald Mano

Journal of Insurance Issues, 1987, vol. 10, issue 2, 92-99

Abstract: The Tax Reform Act of 1986 will have far reaching effects on all American workers. Particularly impacted will be those workers who have Individual Retirement Accounts or are covered by employer sponsored retirement plans. No attempt will be made here to detail all of the changes and their impact on the American worker. However, the impact of the Tax Reform Act on the American workers' retirement plans, Individual Retirement Accounts and other employee benefits will be explained here. Also discussed will be the impact on employers who provide retirement plans for their employees.
