Abstract: In this paper, we mainly investigate the fractional chiral nonlinear Schrödinger equation with a conformable fractional derivative. A variety of new soliton solutions and periodic solutions are acquired by employing two efficient mathematical approaches, which are fractional (Ω′/Ω2)-expansion method and fractional sine-cosine method. These obtained solutions are completely new and have not yet appeared in the existing literature. The physical significance of these obtained new solutions is discussed by sketching some 3D and 2D graphs with a suitable choice of parameters.
