Abstract:
We present some dynamical Jahn–Teller effects inX32E ⊗ esystems. Specific applications are made to Na3and Cu3, where spin–orbit interaction is expected to be negligible for the former and significant for the latter. The emphasis is put on localized vibronic standing-wave states for the ground vibronic level, Zeeman splittings of vibronic levels, and level splittings due to spin–orbit interaction.
