Abstract: We make a theoretical study of the (001) surface magnons dispersion curves. Their localized energy states are calculated by Green function and matching procedure methods which are used simultaneously in the case of semi-infinite cubic frustrated Heisenberg antiferromagnets. Magnetic frustration phenomena originate from competing effects between the first neighbor$(J_{AB}^{1\nu})$and second neighbor$(J_{AA (BB)}^{2\nu})$interactions. This magnetic frustration is quantized by the$J_{AB}^{1\nu} /J_{AA (BB)}^{2\nu}$ratio. It is the first time that such a detailed application of the matching procedure is presented in order to calculate the surface magnon dispersion. It is found that, when$J_{AB}^{1\nu} /J_{AA (BB)}^{2\nu}\approx 4$, a magnetic phase transition also exists at the surface, as previously observed in the bulk, in accordance with the results predicted by computer simulation.
